Who is responsible
James Hadfield operates sick.meds.4u and is the controller of personal information collected through this site. For privacy questions or requests, email enquiries@sickmeds4u.com.
Information collected
The enquiry form collects your name, email, role and answers about your music, goals, support, timeline and plans. Optional answers include your organisation, music link, audience, references and budget. Please share only what is relevant; avoid sensitive information and other people’s private details.
Your unfinished enquiry stays in the page’s memory until you leave or reload. It is sent only when you select “Send enquiry”. The site also processes connection and request information, including IP addresses, for hosting and abuse prevention. An essential security cookie protects the form.
Purpose and lawful basis
Information is used to assess and respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you request. When you ask about entering a contract with you, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract. Other relevant correspondence is handled on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to enquiries. Security checks rely on legitimate interests in protecting the website and inbox against abuse.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Required fields are needed to assess and reply to your enquiry; providing other information is optional. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. There is no automated decision making or profiling in the enquiry flow.
Service providers and transfers
Netlify hosts the website and runs its enquiry endpoint and request limits. Resend delivers the enquiry email, using a sending region in Ireland. Google Workspace receives and stores the correspondence. Enquiry contents are not intentionally written to application logs or an application database. Providers can process operational and security information under their own retention arrangements.
These providers may process information outside the UK, including in the EU and US. Their data processing terms provide applicable international-transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions. See Netlify’s legal information, Resend’s data processing terms and Google Workspace’s data processing terms. A sending region does not mean that every provider operation or record stays in that region.
Information is shared only as needed to handle enquiries, operate the website or meet legal obligations. External links, including Spotify and Instagram, open separate services covered by their own notices.
How long information is kept
Unsuccessful enquiries are reviewed and deleted within 12 months, unless a specific legal obligation or dispute requires longer retention. This is a manual review of received correspondence. Active enquiries are kept while discussions continue. Records relating to a subsequent client relationship are retained according to the relationship and applicable record-keeping requirements.
Closing this page clears the unfinished draft, but does not delete a sent enquiry. The form’s security cookie expires after two hours. Provider logs and backups follow the providers’ retention and deletion processes.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the processing and applicable exceptions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing at any time. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests or complaints to enquiries@sickmeds4u.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through the ICO complaints service.
